SAMPLE SOCCER MATCH RESULTS AND STANDINGS
This is a simple spreadsheet with match results, wins, losses, ties, and
goals-for and goals-allowed added MANUALLY.
The spreadsheet is to be updated weekly as the season progresses.
The spreadsheet calculates three points for a win and one point for a tie.
The spreadsheet calculates basic statistics for total Points, Goal Differential, and Goal Average.
Sorting is done BY THE USER with the software’s sort function after each weekly update, based on
Points, Goal Differential, and then Goal Average, for the Standings.
Competition Format for the sample:  9 Teams; Round-Robin; 9 Weeks; Each team has a bye.
Team Names:  Cougars, Avalanche, Cats, Condors, Fury, Thunder, Dodgers, Lions, Knights.
The sample shows the results and the standings at the end of a hypothetical Week 4.
